A favourite of mine is St Mary's church in Ottery St Mary, Devon. It was built as a scaled-down version of Exeter Cathedral and is full of the original colour of the period. It makes me feel more in tune with the period somehow and I feel closer to the history...as well as it being a wonderful feast for the senses.
